Restoration for Isolation

In Ep 29 I talk about a new project because of all the things on my list of things to do, not that many (basically none) are what you might call a hobby, and I need a hobby badly, especially if I’m going to be working from home for a little while, with no more driving back and forth that’s two whole extra hours a day I could potentially be useful. So that’s the plan – and there’ll be video proof to go along with it! Cheers,

  1. Thanks for sending this out. I was disappointed to see it was a podcast, though I am sure that’s a very useful way to put your thoughts out. I am a better reader than listener… so, just wanted to let you know, that rather like ‘stories’ on facebook, so ephemeral that I never bother to even click on them as I have not managed to figure out how to make them stay long enough on the screen to absorb… that just like not everyone is a reader, not everyone is a podcast listener. No solution comes to mind. Cheers, Anne

    1. Hi Anne, I hear you loud and clear – and I do intend to do more writing from time to time, it was just that I hadnt had the time to write, so I was able to record podcasts while driving to work and this is what the blog evolved into moreso than just a writing platform. If it helps, this particular episode was all about a project idea I have for restoring an old truck as a hobby – the point of the episode was that in times like this it is necessary to be able to focus on a hobby from time to time to escape from the world and get some relaxation doing something we enjoy – and I happen to like auto mechanics and restoring old vehicles, so for the sake of my own mental health I’m planning to restore an old truck. But I will take your comments into consideration and try to remember this started at a blog, so I should indeed write more. THANK YOU for commenting.
